Asha Ashanti bromfield is an Afrojamaican, of African descent, is a singer, songwriter and screenwriter. Melody Jones' role as drummer Josie and the Pussycats is a well-known character on CW Riverdale. Asha appears as Zadie in the hit Netflix series Locke and Key. She's also written HURRICANE summer and songs for RIE. Asha Bromfield's first novel brings readers to Jamaica as well as the world of a young girl that is adjusting both with herself and her family. The novel is set against the backdrop of the hurricane. Tilla an 18-year-old girl from Jamaica has struggled to earn the love of her father all her life.
